What is Sissons Insulfilm
A high performance membrane coating, specifically designed to dramatically reduce heat entering buildings. Flexible reinforced acrylic membrane able to accomodate movement in substrates without affecting its re-radiating properties. Completely water proof yet breathable. Impervious to airborne pollution and extreme weather conditions. Non toxic, non flammable and does not contain potentially health hazardous materials such as asbestos and mineral fibres.

Tested & Proven
Actual tests were conducted in tropical climate to determine the effectiveness of the coating. Initially the interior temperature of 2 metal sheds, one coated with Insulfilm and the other non-coated, were monitored to determine the ability of Insulfilm to reduce internal temperatures. Subsequently a house was sectioned off and the electrical consumption was monitored before and after application of Insulfilm . The Results Speak For Themselves! The un-painted house consumed 17.86 KW hours of electricity per day over 22 days period. The painted house consumed 14.55 KW hours per day over similar period. This equates to an apparent 17.86% cost saving. Allowing for outside temperature variations this reduces to 17.80% saving.
